I made Tascam DR100 thing a bit ‘more than a week, and I like it so far. I have a live show direct from the board, in addition to a test using the built-in unidirectional condenser. I use survey, which triggers a db limit is reached and then stop when the signal is below this level – each event is written to a new file. I finished both sessions with a complete set of separate files, and only a little effort to find and eliminate accident spurs. L ‘quality for both sessions was excellent. I use 192k mp3 at all and was able to go home, USB cable and upload the files immediately. My band mates now have instant review of material for shows and competitions.
